MakerCon Bay Area 2015 connects the individuals at the forefront of the maker movement and is a meeting place for professional makers to discuss where the movement is going, along with the latest trends and issues for all.
A huge crowd turned out to the Rockville Science Day and Catylator was soon handing out our marshmallow challenge build kits as fast as we could assemble them. Bags of marshmallows, several boxes of spaghetti, yards of string and and rolls of tape were turned into some of the most elegant and beautiful structures we have ever seen.

We are launching summer camp experiences focused on the Engineering Design Process, CAD, 3D printing and other fabrication techniques. Using a tailored project based approach taught by experienced engineers, campers will design and build an object they will take home with them at the end of the week.
